Craft Tutorial: Create Your Own Cardboard Castle For Small World Play
August 4, 2021
This week's craft activity from Jess is showing us how to create a crackin' castle from a recycled cardboard box.
Not only is this a fun-filled craft activity, but your kids will most certainly want to hold onto their castles for sensational small-world play.
Bring on the adventure, magic, fantasy and fun.
Let's hope the kids enjoy many hours of small world play with their home-made creations and don't forget to share your castle designs with us on Instagram and Facebook, tagging @oskarswoodenark and using the hashtag: #oskarslittleartists.

Step 1:
Get a cardboard box and cut the battlement
as well as the flap for the front door.
Step 2:
Cut out shields and flags.

Step 3:
Get your little artists to paint the box.
Step 4:
It's time to get creative and decorate the shields and flags with Kitpas crayons.

Step 5:
Glue triangles on paddle pop sticks for the flags. Decorate the castle walls with shields and glue on the towers with the flags.
Step 6:
Set up your cardboard castle for small world play.

Step 7:
Your cardboard castle is ready for play.
