Gluckskafer Play Kitchen Double Sided with Stove and Sink

All parts of the Gluckskafer Play Kitchen (with the exception of the sink and door handles) are made from sustainably sourced beech and linden wood. A very robust piece of furniture that will be played with through many generations of star chefs.

Finished in natural based oils which allow the beautiful, warm wood grain to remain exposed. Solid European Beechwood doors, sides and bench top.

The Play Kitchen is free-standing and has features on all sides with plenty of storage space for dishes, pots, tea towels and other kitchen utensils meaning that several children are able to play at the same time without getting in each other’s way. Features include a stainless steel sink with a wooden faucet, turnable taps and a cupboard on one side while the other has a stove and oven with its own wooden baking tray.

What is also a fun characteristic of this Gluckskafer Play Kitchen is the little service window found in the middle of the two sides which allows children to send their carefully prepared dishes to one another without the need to physically walk it around which will simply add more fun and laughter for the children. 

Imitating the everyday actions of adults in the home is considered to be a very important step in the development of children and the preparation and cooking of food is certainly an important one. Children as young as one are already eager to learn how to cut their own apples or pour their own orange juice.
