Pfingstweid Wooden Toys
The Diakonie Pfingstweid e.V. workshops on Lake Constance currently offer around 200 people with various support needs the opportunity to participate in working life. Under the guidance of two master carpenters, Pfingstweid operates a toy factory in which a large selection of high-quality wooden toys are developed and manufactured for babies and pre-school children. Wooden vehicles, flying objects, ships and boats, push and pull toys and balance games - each one unique and handcrafted with love.
The Pfingstweid employees in the toy factory are tasked with giving each toy a name - an expression of appreciation for the beautiful products they create, and a wish that children around the world will love and appreciate them too.
Quality guaranteed
Pfingstweid toys are carefully and beautifully crafted from native maple, beech or alder wood. Any colours used are non-toxic and saliva resistant, and the surfaces are treated with linseed oil, which provides a wonderful tactile surface. Each piece is designed with young children in mind, with careful inspections ensuring that they are safe for little hands to explore and enjoy.
The WfbM Pfingstweid has held the DIN ISO 9001 certificate for quality management since 2000. All toys comply with the EN 71 standard and the CE guidelines. Most Pfingstweid toys are also Spielgut certified - a prestigious award given to children's toys and products in Germany that meet strict criteria for quality and educational value.
Timeless Treasures for Little Ones
Perfect for both active play and imaginative small-world adventures, Pfingstweid's delightful wooden toys encourage the development of fine and gross motor skills, creativity, and self-expression from an early age. Built to withstand years of fun, they are sure to be enjoyed by generations to come.
