How are Wobbel Boards constructed?
Made in Belgium, Wobbel Boards are the creation of Hannelore & Wouter. Several layers of high quality European FSC beech wood are pressed under high pressure to form the curve, then finished with a water-based translucent lacquer. The result is an extremely robust board with a weight limit of 200Kg, made from completely natural and sustainable materials. CE certified and safety tested to European and Australian standards, Wobbel Boards are suitable for children and adults of all ages, from babies, right through to the golden years!
Wobbel Boards are designed for indoor use, but can also be used outside with sufficient care. Felt backing in a choice of colours is a great option for hard floors.
What can you do with a Wobbel Board?
Rocking, balancing, pushing, spinning, sliding, sitting, relaxing... all activities you can do on your Wobbel Board.
Flip it, use it as boat, turn it into a see-saw, a tunnel, a bridge, a doll's house, a step, or a place to take a quiet nap or read a book.
Your Wobbel Board grows with your child. Younger children can crawl onto it and rock gently, or use it as a bridge for their toys. Older children will stand and rock and learn to balance - both their bodies and their building blocks!
Which Wobbel Board and accessories should I choose?
Wobbel Original: A true classic perfect for all ages. The felted base is recommended if you intend to use your Wobbel on any surface other than carpet or a rug. Wobbel's natural wool felt (available in a variety of colours) is highly resistant to abrasion, protects floors (and Wobbels), reduces sound, provides a non-slippery and softer surface when the Wobbel is used as a seat, step, or in Wobbel Yoga, and adds a beautiful look and contrast to the wood.
Wobbel Pro: The Original’s twin sister, but with a hardwearing recycled pressed felt base, making it ideal for intensive use. Wobbel's pressed felt is made from recycled PET bottles.
Wobbel Deck: To make your Wobbel lounge moments even more inviting, a Wobbel Deck transforms your Wobbel Original or Pro into a cosy chill-out spot, offering kids a comfy place to rest, unwind, and relax after all the fun and play.
