📜 Welcome! 👋🏼 You’ve made it to our first blog post and we hope you have fun exploring our story. We would love to hear from you in any form and we hope that knowing a little bit about our history gives you insight to what we are about.

So, hello and welcome to Oskar's Wooden Ark. My name is Simon and I was born in the 80’s in Germany 🇩🇪. I have a love for handmade wooden toys 🌳 because of my parents. My Mum is a kindergarten teacher and she always made sure my younger brother and I grew up playing with many different wooden toys as she also has a love for all things handmade and traditional. In 2017, me, my Australian wife Thuy and our little son Oskar moved all the way to Australia 🇦🇺.

We are a small online business 👨🏼🌾 based in Adelaide, South Australia and we can’t wait to bring you the full range of educational and handmade wooden toys like 🌈Grimms Spiel & Holz Design and 🐘Ostheimer Holzspielzeug all the way from Germany. We would be more than grateful and thankful for your support in our little family run business in the future.
