We are finally moving - our story part 08

📅 December 2017 – Moving day

📜 Since we had to wait for Oskar’s Australian citizenship 🔖 to be approved our plans to move to Australia 🇦🇺 were a little bit delayed. We are moving. Finally. Months of preparing, selling items we didn’t need any more or didn’t want to bring to Australia are finally coming to an end. The hard part was definitely the saying good bye to all our lovely friends and family members 😢. We will miss you so much. But now it’s time for us to move on and start a new chapter in our lives 🌈. We look forward to an exciting time ahead of us. Australia, we are on our way!

📅 December 2017 - Oskar’s Wooden Ark has reached the mainland

📜 After adjusting to the new time zone and more importantly the heat 🔥 we spent our first couple of days in Australia organising our new lives. We celebrated Oskar’s first Christmas 🎄 and my first Christmas during summer ☀️. It was hard to get into a Christmas mood this year but enjoying the day outside with family and a delicious barbecue was definitely something I could get used to.

We had so much to organise. From getting a mobile number, opening up bank accounts, transferring my German driving license into an Australian one, registering our business names & business number 📝 and most importantly registering our domain name.

However the most exciting part was to finally order our stock. It will take some time until all the gorgeous toys will arrive but we are happy to share them with you in the next couple of weeks!
