📜 We are proud to share the story behind our name and logo and are super happy with how the final version turned out. It’s not just a name. We’d always wanted to create something we fully stand behind. Something we believe in 🍀. Something that stands out to us and hopefully to you as well.

The name Oskar’s Wooden Ark 🌳 consists of two parts. The first part is related to our son’s name whose name is obviously Oskar. It means the one whom the Gods protects. But to be honest we basically chose the name because we both simply loved it 😍. The second part “Wooden Ark” is related to the well-known story of Noah’s Ark.

The logo combines our two main brands. The rainbow as the most famous product from 🌈 Grimm’s Spiel & Holz Design and the ark as the flagship product from 🐘 Ostheimer Holzspielzeug with some of the animals. We also wanted to have Koalas 🐨 on the ark because we are based in Australia 🇦🇺 and nothing would fit better than a Koala (or a kangaroo).
